Brainstorming Design Ideas and Preferred Option

Brainstorming Design Ideas:

1. Paperweight/locked Organizer (upper left)
2. Multi-functional Organizer (upper right)
3.Bulletin Board/Cabinet (lower left)
4. Safe Table (lower right)

Preferred Option :

Out of all the designs we’ve thought of, we chose this one. The Multi-functional Organizer which has 2 shelf layers and a rotational mechanism. It is the least complicated but useful design since it mostly meets the client’s problems.

Multi-functional Organizer

Day 2 : Brainstorming and Final Decision

Investigation Research

Since we've decided on a Multi-functional Organizer, we researched on designs on the web for ideas:
I like the design of this one because it's really simple. You can put several things in it but it's still space-saving

This design is likeable because it is also simple but attractive-looking and looks useful for offices

The design of this organizer is nice because it is not space-consuming but has different several compartments for things to be put in

Now, this one is a cute organizer. It is really small, for tiny things only but an efficient and beautiful design

Day 1 : Planning and Interviewing the Client

Evaluation Criteria

    1.    Was its multifunctional design useful?
    2.    Were the functions helpful for the situation
        of our client?
    3.    Were the 6 pieces of wood used wisely
        and properly?
    4.    Was our artefact innovative enough?
    5.     Was our client satisfied with the finished
        product?

Interview with the Client

So our client is the one and only beautiful Ms. Jona Lou V. Mesia :D

And in our interview, here are the questions we asked:

Physical

Favorite color?            Tangerine

Satisfied with your work? If yes, explain why, if no, why not?

Yes, because at least I get to be with my                            family everyday after work even if it's                              just a little time and No because there's                            still too much stress

Problems with workplace?   It's too small & tight and there's not                              much privacy since it's just cubicles and                            noise can easily be heard

Intellectual

Things you like to do?     Reading and gardening

Happy of what you have today? If yes, are you contented, why? If not, what do you want to achieve more?

Yes, i'm happy with all the blessings                                i've received. I couldn't ask for more

Do you feel comfortable working in your working area? Do you sometimes get disturbed while working?

There are times which the environment is                            peaceful and comforting but there are a                              lot of times where noise overcomes and                              not much silence is observed so, yes, I                              get quite disturbed and again, an issue                              on privacy

Emotional

Hopes as a mother?         I hope that I could help maximize my                                children's potentials and support their                              developments

Best for you and your children?
I guess Time Management. For me, since I                            get separated from them and also from all                            my leisure time and all, time management                            is important. For them, they have lots to                            learn so time would really be a big help

Social

Do you always enjoy your time with your friends? If yes, what is your favorite thing to do with friends? if no, what keeps you from enjoying?

No, busy in working and family

Do you feel the need to communicate with more people outside of Pisay?

It helps, but for me it's not a need
